Zhu Min: Global economy will slow in 2012

At the just-concluded APEC forum in Honolulu, Deputy Managing Director of the IMF - Zhu Min, says global economic growth will slow in the coming year and financial markets will continue to be volatile.

Zhu Min said: "The economic growth for next year will decelerate, the IMF forecast will downgrade growth rates. Despite slower growth, we should still be confident. The overall trend is still on the rise, expectations are just lower. The financial markets will continue to fluctuate, we have to face the difficulties together."
