Air Emirates orders 50 Boeing 777

Boeing has begun the week at full throttle at the Dubai Air Show in the United Arab Emirates. The world's largest plane maker is selling 50 777s to the UAE's flagship air carrier Emirates.
The order makes Emirates the worlds largest operator of Boeing 777s. Industry sources say the deal could be worth up to 15 billion dollars and gives Boeing a further lead ahead of rival Airbus.

Boeing predicts the Middle East region will need more than 25-hundred airplanes by 2030, worth about 450 billion dollars.
And Boeing is hoping its new 787 Dreamliner, which makes its regional debut at the air show, will help lead that expansion.
