China's aviation industry produced 16,000 aircraft over 60 years
The 60th anniversary of the establishment of China's aviation industry was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on April 17.
After 60 years of achievements, China's aviation industry has gradually formed a high-tech industrial system with complete categories and supporting scientific and experimental production and has also developed many kinds of multi-purpose aircraft, engines and missiles.
China has produced a total of more than 16,000 aircraft and helicopters and more than 60,000 engines, and exported and donated a total of more than 2,400 aircraft over the past 60 years.
Currently, China's aviation industry has gradually formed a high-tech industrial system represented by aircraft and helicopters with complete supporting aero-engine airborne systems, aviation weapons, a relatively complete technical basis and relatively strong army-civilian integration. In recent years, China's aviation industry has strengthened its innovation to accelerate itself towards the level of the world aviation industry.
