Xian to build Chinas most open free trade zone

The State Council recently approved the establishment of the Xian Comprehensive Free Trade Zone. This is the first comprehensive bonded zone in northwestern China. After the program is completed, it will become one of the most important support platforms for international inland ports created by Xian in recent years and will promote the further opening up of the northwestern region in China.

The Xian Comprehensive Free Trade Zone is located in the Xian International Port District and covers an area of nearly 6.2 square kilometers, which includes 1.2 million square meters of standard factory buildings and warehouse space.

The Xian Comprehensive Free Trade Zone will be connected with logistics infrastructure, such as the Xian Railway Container Center Station and the Xian Highway Port. With the support of special preferential measures, an inland-based hub for international transport will take shape there.

It will facilitate more efficient custom declaration and integrate sea shipping and rail transportation.

This multifunctional bonded zone will provide a range of services, including an open port, bonded logistics, bonded export processing, international trade, international transit, international distribution, international procurement, distribution and delivery. It is also the most open free trade zone and enjoys the most preferential measures in China.
