China's SOEs go public with spokepersons' details

The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, China's State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) watchdog, unveiled contact information for spokepersons of the nation's 120 SOEs Friday in an effort to facilitate better communication with the public.

The information include names, titles, e-mail addresses, the numbers for office phones, business cell phones and faxes.

Starting from June 2008, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council has began to study to the feasiblity of spokesperson system in SOEs.

Currently, China has 121 SOEs, with total assets worth nearly 24 trillion yuan ($3.65 trillion).
