Vision-ary Huawei

Models hold new cloud-based smartphones called "Vision" and MediaPads made by Huawei Technologies Co, the world's No. 2 network equipment maker, during an official launch ceremony in Beijing yesterday. The Chinese company yesterday unveiled their cloud-computing mobile phones in an attempt to replicate its telecom gear success in the smartphone market. The company is betting its cloud-computing smartphones will help the firm grab market share from the likes of Apple Inc and Samsung Electronics, analysts say.
