China delivers first upgraded homegrown short haul passenger aircraft
China's initial new-generation homegrown short transport passenger aircraft, Xinzhou-600, was delivered Friday to China Civil Aviation College in Guanghan City of southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The Xinzhou-600, grown by Xi'an Aircraft International Corporation (XAIC) of a China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC), had a initial hearing flight in Oct 2008 in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, pronounced a AVIC.
The turboprop aircraft was an upgraded version of a Xinzhou-60 which can carry 50 to 60 passengers. The Xinzhou-600 had been updated with a some-more comfortable cabin as well as better written body structure, pronounced Jiang Jianjun, ubiquitous physical education instructor of XAIC.
The Xinzhou-600 was written for a limit 2,450-kilometers flying distance, as well as was able of inter-island flights, Jiang said.
The company so distant has received some-more than 10 orders for a Xinzhou-600, Jiang said, disclosing which two orders had been placed by a Laos government.
